Everyone loves freebies! For Day 5 of our 7-Day Blogging Challenge, we were encouraged to give away something for free. How fun!
Here is the prize I am offering: a Random Act of Kindness (RAK) to be done in your name complete with a blog post mentioning you and your website or blog (if you have one). I will also customize the random act of kindness to reflect your interests (animals, children, cooking, etc.).
Wow! How many people will offer that just for YOU?
How to enter the raffle? Simply comment on this blog post. I will put all the names in a bucket and draw the winner later today!
The contest starts NOW! It’s a pay-it-forward RAK that pays-it-forward again, a simple way to say “Thanks” for being a faithful reader and sharing in the joy of kindness!
What a great idea! I have definitely done more RAKS since you started your blog. I thought of you last week while we were in Disney. A lady walked by pushing a stroller and mentioned to her friend that she wished she had a Band-aid for her son. I overheard this and knew I had one in my purse. I am not one to walk up to strangers but as a mother I knew I had to do it. So I walked up to her and used much the same language you use during your RAKS, and gave her a bandaid. It felt SO good! You are an inspiration girl!! Love ya!
Oh, Heather, that was an AWESOME RAK! I love that you’ve been inspired to do more for others. I think I may put a few bandaids in my purse now, in case someone else may need them. Now you’ve inspired me! (And you are officially entered in the raffle! Yay!)
Just arrived at your blog by way of the blogging challenge and just had to comment! My girls and I adore doing random acts of kindness. Whether it is picking up garbage on our trail to school, leaving flowers for friends who’ve had a bad week, buying coffee for the car behind us in the drivethru at Tim Hortons or posting happy pictures on bulletin boards, spreading happiness brings so much joy to the recipients and givers! Thank you for celebrating and giving kindness 🙂
So happy you could stop by! I adore all of your RAK ideas! Doing random acts of kindness is so much fun, especially when it involves your children! You’re a great mom! (And officially entered into the raffle! Yay!)
Awesome give away! Thanks for thinking of that. I, too, have been following Jeff Goins and have struggled, especially with the time for the learning. Wishing you wonderful acts of kindness returning to you. Karen
